Step 1: Scheule a Consult Call

I offer free 15-20 minute consult calls to new clients. During these calls, I will ask you and your partner what issues you are having and what goals you would like to achieve in our work together. I will share how I would work with you and we will figure out if we are a good fit to work together. If for some reason we are not a good fit I will be happy to provide referrals to you.

Step 2: Book An Intake

Intake sessions are 80 minutes long and during that time we will go over your intake paperwork and complete a mental health history. I take notes that will help focus on where you have been, where you are now, and where you would like to go.  There is space to process at the end of the session and for you to ask me any questions.

Step 3: Fill Out PaperWork

All the paperwork will be sent to you through an online portal that we will set up during our consult call and it is electronic. Each person will get their own log-in to the system and their own paperwork. You will also get sent a link for our virtual session and a reminder 24hrs beforehand.

Teletherapy Tips:

Lighting

It is helpful to have good lighting during our sessions together so that we can see each other well. Try to put lighting sources in front of you instead of behind you.

Audio

If possible, wearing headphones during our sessions helps to reduce echo, increases privacy, and cuts out on external noises.

Camera

Position your camera so that we can see each other clearly, if you can eye level is best.

Location

It is best if you are in a private location on secure internet. One of my requirements is that you not be riding or driving in a car during our sessions for safety reasons.
